No wobbly tables in NoMad: NOROCK on Arlo Hotel’s Rooftop

At ART NoMad at Arlo Hotel in New York, Stonehill Taylor tackled all of it — and chose our NRxTMH self-stabilizing table bases in Leeuwin Blue colorway to handle the stability piece without anyone having to think about it twice.

The setup

Thirty-one stories above NoMad, ART sits in the center of it all. The Empire State Building anchors the view straight ahead. The Flatiron rooftops spread out to one side. Koreatown buzzes below. And that glass-floor Sky Walk? It’s a straight shot down to the streets for anyone brave enough to look.

This is a rooftop built for versatility — golden hour cocktails and shareable small plates, late-night lounging, private events, corporate gatherings, birthday parties. The space needs to shift easily between intimate hangouts and full buyouts, between casual drop-ins and planned celebrations.

Stonehill Taylor’s design supports all of it. Banquette seating and clustered tables carve out conversation zones without making the terrace feel chopped up. Sage greens and warm yellows set a relaxed tone, while our Leeuwin Blue is a playful pop of color. A local artist’s mural brings visual energy to the perimeter walls. The lighting adapts, moody once the sun drops.

Terrazzo tabletops and painted pavers add texture. Greenery creates enclosure without blocking skyline views. It’s photogenic, sure, but it’s also designed for people to actually settle in and stay awhile.
