A commitment to design, stability, and a better world.

NOROCK self-stabilising tables are B Corp Certified

What is B Corp Certification?

Becoming a Certified B Corporation means meeting the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. It goes beyond profitability, requiring companies to demonstrate how they’re creating positive impact for people and the planet — not just shareholders.

For NOROCK, becoming a Certified B Corporation is both a milestone and a mindset. It affirms our commitment to designing smarter, more sustainable self-stabilising table bases that reduce waste, minimise environmental impact, and deliver lasting value. This certification reflects what’s always been at the heart of our work: making better tables — and doing better business.

B Corp measures impact across:

  • Governance and ethical operations
  • Worker wellbeing and inclusivity
  • Community engagement and impact
  • Environmental sustainability
  • Customer responsibility and transparency

Tables that make a difference: Without compromise.

Our self-stabilising table bases are engineered to eliminate wobble, reduce waste, and stand the test of time. From product design to packaging, we consider sustainability at every step. B Corp Certification validates this commitment and challenges us to keep improving.

We design for durability and repairability, which means fewer replacements, lower lifecycle costs, and less landfill. Our packaging is FSC-certified, our components are minimised, and our team continually reviews materials and processes for lower impact.

Our commitment in action:

  • Products designed to outlast conventional bases
  • Reduced component count to minimise materials and energy
  • Recyclable, FSC-certified, and right-sized packaging
  • Long product lifespans that minimise landfill

Our journey to certification

Our B Corp journey started with a belief: the furniture industry can — and should — do better. We’ve always questioned the status quo, from the instability of standard table bases to the waste that often comes with mass production. Getting certified was about putting rigour and transparency around our values.

The B Impact Assessment gave us a framework to measure where we’re strong and where we can grow. From how we treat our team and partners, to the decisions we make around materials and distribution, every aspect of our business has been scrutinised — and made stronger.

The process:

  • Full review of our environmental, social, and governance practices
  • Lifecycle thinking embedded into design and manufacture
  • Continuous improvement goals for product and packaging
  • Focus on ethical partnerships and transparent sourcing
  • Certification awarded in 2025 after rigorous evaluation

Having self-stabilising tables in a space with sandstone flooring has saved us so much time and effort, not to mention looks so much better than having a napkin sticking out from underneath a table. They are sturdy and solid while still fitting the aesthetics of the venue.

Shaun Brown, General Manager – RAFI

Hamptons City Beach on the outdoor balcony featuring NOROCK Esplanade self-stabilising table base

Our staff are thrilled with the NOROCK Table Bases as they don’t have to waste time running around to fix wobbly tables. As they are truly self-stabilising, customers can move tables and the staff don’t have to worry about re-adjusting as the bases do it all by themselves!

Marcel Slobe, Owner – Hamptons City Beach, Australia

The best thing about NOROCK is the quality. We operate seven days a week, lunch and dinner, 364 days a year, so it’s pretty good that they can handle that kind of rigorous restaurant customer usage, which is pretty heavy-handed. For us to have no problems after two and a half years is amazing!

Aaron Carr, Chef & Owner – Yarri, Australia

What I most like about NOROCK is they bring some desirability to dining outside and confidence that our guests won’t experience any negative effects from the tables. They’ve alleviated a lot of the issues I had with outdoor dining.

Josh Niland, Co-Owner & Chef – Saint Peter, Australia

The NOROCK bases remove the customer frustration of wobbly tables and unsteady food and drinks. Unsightly menus and serviettes stuffed under bases to balance tables have been an issue for both indoor and outdoor dining, NOROCK bases remove the problem elevating the customer experience.

Rich Collie, Global Head of Property Development – German Doner Kebabs, UK

NOROCK tables have eliminated the need for tacky-looking solutions to wobbly tables. They’re the most reliable restaurant tables we have ever worked with.

Hutton Brickyards AHEAD winner featuring NOROCK self-stabilizing table bases

Wobbly tables have long been one of my biggest pet peeves in hotels and restaurants! I was thrilled to be introduced to NOROCK, it’s a high-quality, well-priced product that really does self-stabilise. We have old concrete factory floors and not a wobbly table insight. I like that these bases don’t rely on bands or other parts that need replacing, they are simple ingenuity and look great, I would use these again and again on future projects and their service is very attentive too!

Kevin O’Shea, Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer – Hutton Brickyards, USA

I love NOROCK, it’s a game-changer. To know that every single time that table is going to be fine in any situation, be it on the footpath, on our flat slabs or on the brick flooring we have in our function space — it’s right every time. To think that we can just drop and run — massive advantage!

Elliot Moore, Co-Owner – Besk, Australia

NOROCK table bases are fantastic. They are streamline and understated in design and most of all practical. The technology is amazing. I have been using NOROCK bases for years in my cafes and love them. I wouldn’t use anything else.

Wobbly tables are a huge customer annoyance. This is a simple solution to help guarantee customer comfort – we have explored other options, but NOROCK is the best solution.

Scott Redler, Co-Founder – Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers, USA

The team at NOROCK made my day when I discovered them. After spending months agonising over table bases for our marri table tops, Furniture Options pointed me in their direction. We couldn’t be happier with how the table bases finished our project for us.

Angie McHugh, Co-Owner – Parry Beach Weddings, Australia
Toby building a NOROCK self-stabilising table base

The design of these tables is revolutionary. Since purchasing we haven’t had to wedge a piece of card to steady the tables – this is a first in table design. Why did we have to wait so long!

Chris Galvin, Head Chef and Owner – Galvin Restaurants, UK
Hamptons City Beach on the outdoor balcony featuring NOROCK Esplanade self-stabilising table base

As we are right by the ocean corrosion was a major concern of ours along with having uneven planked flooring. Furniture Options suggested using the Esplanade NOROCK Table Base as they are made with high-quality die-cast aluminium. It has stood up to the elements extremely well, while also being a stylish design.

Marcel Slobe, Owner – Hamptons City Beach, Australia

They seem to be indestructible and I can honestly say when you have both types of tables in your venue you realise jut how annoying a rocking table is!

Ryan Haigh – Artezen Restaurant, Australia

After 25 years in the hospitality industry, we were ecstatic to discover someone had finally produced a table base that is self-stabilizing. They are incredibly easy to use, and save a lot of time & hassle for both our staff & customers.

Sam Kern, Owner – Tucker

We are so pleased with the functionality that we are preparing to fit out the rest of the shop with NOROCK.

Craig McConville – Yallingup Roasting Company, Australia

We loved using NOROCK’s NRxTMH bases. The undulating form elevated our custom outdoor tables balancing the need for functional self-stabilizing bases with layered texture and interest. The Leeuwin blue paired perfectly with our vibrant palette, allowing the midtown Manhattan rooftop to become a vibrant oasis in the center of the cityscape.

We love incorporating NOROCK table bases into our designs because they effortlessly solve the age-old problem of wobbly tables. Their reliability and aesthetic qualities allow us to focus on creating beautiful spaces without compromising on functionality or guest experience.

NOROCK was the clear choice for Busselton Pavilion to pair with our custom designed tabletops created by Ergoline. The discreet, reliable, easy to clean bases provided a great range of flexibility and low-maintenance for the venue’s team while looking great.

Jess Beaver, Associate – MJA Studio, Australia

The concept of Bobby’s is in the pursuit of fun and having a good time, and that’s what we resonated with when it came to specifying the NOROCK bases for this venue. They are beautiful, they work well, they seamlessly fit into the concept with the colours that they come in, the venue is by the coast and the colours are inspired by the West Australian coastline so we thought it was a nice fit to then specify them to sit by the water.

UP on the Roof featuring NOROCK's Trail Self-Stabilizing Table Bases

We have been thrilled with the NOROCK bases that we specified at UP on The Roof. This concept is on a rooftop terrace where the floor surface is not completely level. The bases are easy to stabilize as they are moved around the space for various size guest parties. We also found them very affordable for such a quality product.

Stacey Kirby, Principal – Seiber Design

Hospitality is a tough environment for furniture. The demands of high use for multiple users each day, together with the requirement to be moved around often by staff and patrons at a whim place major pressure on the standard of products. To have a piece of furniture stand up to the test is reassuring. Furthermore, for the product to deliver consistency in providing a solid flat surface across different surfaces makes for an easy choice.

Stuart Krelle, Director – Luchetti Krelle

When it came to planning the tables for the alfresco area at Will St, we chose NOROCK as the obvious answer to the daily setting of the tables on a sloping uneven brick paved area for a quick hassle free stable solution for the setting of food and drink.
